ACC Chief Bags Alumnus Award In UK

Sierra Leone's Anti-corruption Commission Chief, Francis Ben Kaifala, has received this year's Alumnus of the year achievement award organized by the Center for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London.


Receiving the award the ACC Chief said he was delighted to be honoured with such an outstanding award.

He stated that the award would encourage him to do more in the fight against corruption in Sierra Leone.


“ I left this University few years ago as a timid boy not knowing what lies ahead; today, I returned as a man deserving highest honour,’’ said the ACC chief.


He thanked the Center for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London for the honour and called on every Sierra Leonean to join hands together in the fight against corruption.


He promised to double his efforts together with key stakeholders to fight corruption in Sierra Leone and Africa as a whole.


"I dedicate this award to my Mother, Mrs. Tewa Kaifala who is alive to see all this.
