Disabled International Foundation Sierra Leone/ UK Executive Director, Madam Imambay Kadie Kamara has received another LiFTEFFCTS humanitarian award in the United Kingdom in honour of her tremendous services to humanity.
DIFSIL organization has played a leading role in providing scholarships to deprived children and Ebola orphans across Africa with specific reference to Sierra Leone.
Under her esteemed leadership, Madam Kamara has provided voice for women and sexually abused children. Receiving the Lifting you up for greater height (LiFTEFFCTS) award, the multiple award winner said she was excited and extremely happy for such reconznition to honour her for serving humanity.
“I have an innate passion for what I do & it respectfully appreciate it,” DIFSIL boss said.
She said this award has demonstrated that, ” the reward for good work is more work.” She presented the award to all children across the globe and stated that “indeed my hard work does not go unnoticed.”
Madam Imambay Kamara assured that she will continue to do everything in her power to improve the wellbeing of the less privileged and disabled people in the three Mano River Union Countries. She believes that her orgnization can inspire others to do the same no matter the challenges faced.
She commended the organisers of the event. She thanked them for acknowledging good people in society.
