Ebony had visited her family in the Brong Ahafo Region.
She died in a motor accident at Nyame Bekyere near Abesewa in the Brong Ahafo Region Thursday night

The accident involved a jeep in which the Maame Hwe hitmaker was travelling.

The jeep with registration number AS 497-16 is said to have rammed into a VIP bus.

There were two other passengers including a uniformed military officer on board the jeep. The driver is, however, said to be receiving treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital.

A nurse at that hospital told that the bodies of the deceased are being transferred to Accra.

Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony shot to the limelight with successive hit songs including Poison, Kupe and Sponsor.

Her style of dressing put her on collision course with many opinion leaders though she received backing from fellow artistes including Mzbel.
